The ACiQ 18,000 BTU Concealed Duct Mini-Split Air Handler offers all the benefits of a multi-zone mini split system, without the need for visible air handlers on walls or ceilings. These versatile units can be easily concealed above the ceiling, below the floor, above a closet ceiling, above a hallway ceiling, or behind a soffit. Flex ducting is used to connect the concealed duct air handler to ceiling or wall registers in your desired location, allowing for up to 4 duct runs to be connected, making it ideal for small bedrooms or a master suite. The design is straightforward - return air enters at the rear of the unit, while cooled or heated air is distributed through the front by a nearly-silent squirrel cage fan. A pre-made manifold takeoff can be attached, or plenums can be field-fabricated using ductboard, providing endless customization possibilities with readily available supplies.
