The ACIQ-12ZPL-HP230B Condenser, combined with a compatible 12,000 BTU air handler, provides sufficient capacity for small to medium rooms. With a dual rotary compressor and variable inverter technology, this system achieves extremely high efficiency ratings. Please be aware that this model does not feature quick connect line set connectors and is not suitable for DIY installation. Additional installation materials, such as line sets, control wire, drain hose, whip and disconnect, are not included but can be purchased separately in the Accessories section of this page. A professional is required to add refrigerant and vacuum the lines as needed. While the automated cleaning function will keep your system clean, it is recommended to regularly clean the unit's filters manually.Extreme Heat Base Pan Heater Technology
Each ACiQ condenser includes integrated Extreme Heat technology to optimize heat performance in extremely cold weather. Utilizing extended heat pump performance (HyperHeat), the inverter condenser is equipped with outdoor temperature sensing, variable refrigerant flow, and variable condenser fan speed to maximize heat extraction down to -22 degrees. Additionally, each Extreme Heat ACiQ condenser comes with a base pan heater to prevent ice buildup on the condenser coil during heat pump operation. And the best part? ACiQ offers these technologies with every multizone condenser, while other competitors charge extra for them.
